Hi,

I have acquired a Compaq Presario SR1000. When it is switched on the monitor displays the message "No Input Signal" and then "Going to Sleep Mode". Two monitors, both of which work on other PCs display this message. The PC does not make any error message beeps when switched on. I have checked all the power connections and hard drive ribbon connectors. I have also tried a video card from another PC, but still got the same "No Input Signal" message.

Any ideas on what I should try next?
