is this an OS issue or graphics card issue?
Hi, i recently installed a new OS as my xp media center 2005 ran into sum difficulties (winlogon was quarantined by spybot search and destroy) however, i was able to watch tv on my samsung plasma tv, and zoom in and out to fill the 42inch screen as needed (with aspect ratio), now with my new OS (windows Vista home premium) media center cant manage to go full screen. Ive tried all dispaly setting, nothing works. I downloaded ATI catalyst, but still no joy. The graphic card picks up generic PnP monitor, and the ATI catalyst sees the samsung tv, but the default is the generic monitor and no option to select the tv as a monitoe in device manager. Tv is connected via hdmi cable.
Any suggestions?
