We have an HP 1510 all in one printer connected to an LG 1.1ghz running windows XP Professional. The paper jam light is flashing and so sends an error message that stops me from using it in any way shape or form. I have reinstalled drivers, taken off both inspection plates front and back and there is no blockage! I can run paper right thru' the printer using the 'Resume' button so there can't be an unseen blockage. We are a church (St. Mungos) & can't afford expensive repairs. Is there perhaps someone who can explain what's going on as it's driving us all crazy!! - Many Thanks

I used to own one of these printers, and theyre great when theyre running. However, if the paper jam light is on even without the computer on, then it's most likely a hardware fault.
If this is the case, it wouldn't be worth repairing, as most repair charges will end up costing more than a new machine, considering you can pick up an HP all in one for just over £30 now.
I assume you have tried leaving it unplugged for a few minutes to let it hard reset?

Thanks for the reply, I thought as much, but you never know. I hate those "all in one" jobs myself but it was a donation.
