I just switched from an Abit motherboard to a ASrock motherboard, in order to remedy a previous problem that turned my computer off at random times with no blue screen.

I did not uninstall the old or install the new drivers but just switched the motherboards, the computer boots up to desktop and says it finds all my peripherals (mouse, keyboard, usb sound card) but does not let me use them. I tried with my old ps2 keyboard and cannot boot to disk (in order to install new mobo drivers). I then tried to put my old motherboard back in and after I did, the monitor and all my peripherals did not work. So naturally I was a bit mad.

I installed the new motherboard back in, in hopes of a miracle fix with no luck

any suggestions?
