hi all i bought a computer in 07 its a p4m800pro-m motherboard from ECS i was just wondering if i can put an intel e7500 processor on it.
reason im not sure is it uses an old agp graphics port
it is the right size socket and mhz im just wondering if it will fit???

Hi Thomas and welcome. The best place to look for compatibility issues is always the motherboard's website. Most motherboard makers maintain a list of compatible CPUs and RAM.

hi there i found that page lol...i take it no then...is it because them are 65nms and the E7500 is 45 nm?

That's probably part of it - since they are difference architectures, the chipset may not be programmed to support the newer processors.
