Long story short, my cousin dropped it.

My guess is that the thing to read the disc went off it.

Is this fixable? I personally dont care about getting a new hardrive, I just want the DATA on it back.

think the hard drive is useless if the hard disc does not spin freely you will have no way to get the info off it:

What exact error do you get?

Is the drive recognized by the computer?

Well, Ive figured out the problem. When it was dropped it started to make this clicking noise. I knew from then its damaged. Actual repairs will cost me too much. The free way of recovering my files is putting the hardrive in the fridge, then taking it out and putting the actual Hardrive disc in my cd drive and get what ever I can. [: Im going to enjoy this.
