    Booting difficulty

Please kindly help me in the following issue:
When my computer has a cold start freezes on "Press any key to continue....."
Actually this is happening infrequently and only on cold start (not on rebooting).
    What sould be the reason?
Does my hard disk (120GB + 180GB) is comming to its end?

    XP Pro, SP3, 5.1.2600
    P5K Pentium
    x86 Family 6 Model 15 Stepping 11 GenuineIntel 2666Mhz
    American Megatrends Inc 0504 20/12/2007
    SM BIOS 2.4
Total Virtual Memory 2.00 GB. Total real Memory 2048 MB
    System 32

    Any other info avelable,
    Thank you in advance

Press Any Key to continue is a BIOS function.

It usually occurs when a drive is is mis-labeled in the BIOS which becomes mis-directed.

It should not be of great concern although a nuisance.

Is this a new problem? Did boots go OK prior to a certain time?

    Hi,
First of all, thank you for your reply.
Yes should be about two months it started.
As i said it happends only on cold booting (not on rebooting) and NOT ALWAYS.
I have to press "Reset" to start all over from the begining, then works o.k.
I have this computer about 2 years.
    Thank you again
    Nick
