    Cool Monitor

Hello, I'm new to this post, but hopefully someone could answer this for me: CAN I CONNECT A CPU TO MY LAPTOP AND USE IT AS A MONITOR?

A CPU? Understand a CPU is a "chip", an integrated circuit that plugs into a motherboard that is inside all computer. Your laptop has one on it's motherboard. PCs have one on their motherboards.

So no, you cannot connect a CPU to your laptop. It already has one.

So now, we need to determine what it is you really want to do - starting with the right termonology.

When you say "CPU", do you mean a PC (personal computer - typically in a tower or desktop case)?

Are you asking if you can connect your laptop to a PC and use the laptop's monitor as a monitor for the PC?

Or do you want to use a monitor normally used for PCs as an "external" monitor for your laptop?

Presuming by CPU you mean the actual computer, it is rare for a laptop to offer monitor capabilties, and I have only even seen it on very old windows 95 machines. So presuming what you mean is using your laptop as a monitor for a desktop pc, the answer is probably no
