My main comp is P4 3.2 single core
on Asus P5vd1-X momo
Diamond max 250 gig
2 gig Ram
Nvidea 9500 gt
I tried to boot windows 7 ultimate retail and it froze at the point where the four colours collide I tried a different hard drive but it froze at same point.
Now my second comp is an asrock dual core
A ****y 5600 pentium D processor
2gig ram
western digital 200 gig hd
nvidea 7300gt
It booted the win 7 no problem But becuse t has a **** processor it ran very slow.
So i really want 7 on my trusted comp but dont know what the problem is
It is running Vista ulltimate at momment.
Anyone any Ideas

Just to clarify:

You were able to install 7 but it freezes on the Starting Windows screen?

Or were you unable to install 7?

Hi thanks for the reply to answer your question it would not boot it stuck at the lights joining.
However i have managed to get it sorted by clearing the cmos
my computer is singing and dancing now
And i think windows 7 is fantastic fast easy to use.
and if microsoft are listening can 1 have my £230 quid back i paid for vista which is a load of rubbish
