Hey
I have this Intergral 2GB flash drive...recently bought.
I format it and not it won't work. When I click on it, it says " please insert drive into F:"

It cant format again either. Its saying Capacity unknown and Windows was unable to complete format.


It was working fine before I did the format.

Help!

I downloaded this HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool.

I used it to format my flash and it actually formatted and worked.

My flash wasn't from HP but the program still recognized my flash and worked.

If you cannot format the USB drive by windows, you can try again in command line. Start > Run > "cmd",
input format X: /x
X is the drive letter

yes, i did try to format using DOS. It did not work.
Only the HP tool worked
