i have a Compaq d530sff mobo and i recently updated the bios from 1.11 to 2.44 i then had to reinstall windows and everything was fine until i installed my graphics card drivers the system restarted and then a blue screen appears after the windows loading screen saying there's a hardware failure and it restarts it will only boot in safe mode, it will work properly if i remove my graphics card and everything was working before the update, the graphics card works in another computer, i am running; p4 2.8, 1.5gb ram 320 sata hdd and my graphics card is a asus ah3450 512 agp

Does the BIOS have a setting to disable the on-board VGA?

Most switch automatically to the AGP but some older models may require a manual disabling of the board chip.

no all i can do is change the size
