Hi!
I need some help. I want to clear my hard drive. The computer is working really slow because the hard drive is full of stuff I can't get rid of (i think).
The computer isnt very old, it came with XP on it and I have the install disks for XP. How can totally clean up the hard drive? Will I have to reformat video card and stuff like that?

Clean Install XP as seen here:

You should also have a driver CD which should restore your basic drivers.

If you have a third party graphics card or other third party hardware you can then reinstall the drivers provided by the manufacturers web site.

You will also need to reinstall all Windows Updates.

Everything worked well. The updates installed. The hard drive is new again and the computer is running smoothly. Thankyou very much. I'll be sure to recommend you.
The graphics card that is in the computer was in when we bought it. I tried a game on it and the graphic are fine. We have another computer with Vista. We only use this one for gaming.
