Tried asking around on the Creative Audio forum, didn't even get a response. I'd appreciate even suggestions, and will gladly supply any information asked.

I recently purchased a Creative X-Fi Extreme Audio Notebook Express E-card and it is undetectable by my winxp system. I've tried a variety of different drivers, and also hard-installing the audio drivers through t3.inf only for me to be told that it does not match up with my product. In fact, nothing seems to. I would imagine if I could get my cd drive to work, the installation cd would probably help- unfortunately, my cd drive was also broke when I made this purchase, and I made the decision of going with sound over cd.

Naturally, any solutions, advice, or anything would be hugely appreciated. Thanks.
