Hi guys I have a HP laptop and when I turn it on all the lights go on (power light, volume, touch controls on top) but the screen is dead and the computer makes a sound from the HD and thats it. I can even load into the BIOS, and when I hooked up another screen that too has no activity. Does anyone know what could be the problem?

Could be your ram card took a dump or your CMOS Battery is totally dead or your power supply. Not real good at troubleshooting Hardware, so wait for some better knowledgeable members to reply sammy.

I also wonder if this is one of those bioses that are installed on the hardrive also?
