Print spooler error 1067
-
Are you having any other problems with the computer outside of printing?
What scans were you trying?
Have you tried Trend Micro?

-
No, no other problems apart from not being able to start help and support, tried several and trend being 1 of them and none would start.
-
I have downloaded Kaspersky and doind a scan now i will come back to u as soon as its finished.
-
This is starting to appear as a virus of some kind.
The Help & Support is a typical "knock out".
If you have the XP CD that corresponds to this computer you might try running the system file checker:
start Run... sfc /scannow
If your CD is not SP3 this may not work.
Anyway let us know how it goes.
We can direct you to virus fixers if need be.

did a scan with kaspersky in safe mode which took 18 hrs so cancelled it, did a scan with avg in safe mode and there was a trojan in the kaspersky file, did the sfc scannow and nothing, tried renaming spool file to then check against xp cd but it will not allow me to rename following a google search about spooler sub system, still in same boat!

Tried the housecall from trend and it starts to load, on the left indicates checking platform and browser then goes to idle and hangs, any idea please
