:rofl: Error message when trying to use my CD . DVD Writer as follows bellow can anyone help please

Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)

Assuming you are running either XP or Vista:

Try reinstalling the drivers:

Go to the Device Manager:

Right click My Computer then click Manage then Device Manager.

Click the + next to DVD/CD-ROM Drives.

Right click your drive in question and choose Uninstall.

Now reboot your computer and the drive & drivers will be reinstalled.
