My computer completely froze recently while i was playing a game. I switched the computer off, but now when i turn it on, the fans start spinning but there is no sign of anything else happening (I'm sure it's not the graphics card because i removed that but it didnt solve my problem)...

So you get no display what so ever?

If you remove the graphics card and plug your monitor into the integrated VGA port on the motherboard and you do get a display that would indicate that the problem is definitely with the GFX card. However, if you still don't get a display when plugged into the integrated GFX card that would most likely mean the problem is with your motherboard. If this is the case you can save everything in your computer - all you will have to do is buy a new motherboard which is compatible with all of your current hardware.
