Sound and Graphic Card problem (amongst others!)

    Hello,

I recently ran the program killdisk on my computer. Once I realised that this program would wipe out everything I cancelled it mid-action. This caused my computer to crash big time. It couldnt even locate the driver when I turned it back on. However, after messing around on the F2 boot settings I managed to get Windows XP up and running again. My computer appears much how it did when I first bought it, but I believe the damage is deeper. I cannot adjust the screen resolution nor are my speakers working. Im guessing this indicates a problem with my graphics and sound card. I am not sure what has happened but it ain't good! I do not know much about computers at all and would be grateful if someone could help me? Thank you.
P.S The computer is a Dell Dimension 3000.
