DVD Writer
I have not been into burning DVDs for very long and I don't know much about them. Can someone explain to me why burning DVDs is so disc specific? I tried to copy a DVD and after saving it to the Computer I got a message saying "Insert a DVD-DL disc". I didn't even know there was such a thing. I knew about DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+R, and DVD+RW but not about all the other disc media. Is there any way to make my writer burn discs other than what it wants (not so touchy)? I have even had trouble twice burning backup discs for my Windows LiveOneCare. It would say my blank discs had data on them. I have 3 different brands of discs; Sony, Memorex, and Maxwell, all DVD+R. I would appreciate all imput.
I would also like to ask If I need to have the original version of Windows (XP)on my PC as well as Vista. It seems to me it's a lot of wasted space. Can I put it on a DVD? If so, how do I do that? Thanks for all your help.:grouphug:
