wireless mouse
I have a toshiba laptop and for Christmas, I got a centrios wireless mouse. I used it for a while but one day it wouldn't work and still doesn't on my laptop but it works on every other computers in the house. \i don't know what I did. \it is probably something stupid that I did. There were no paperwork with the mouse. Does anybody out there have an idea of what could be wrong. \i have windows vista on my laptop. Thanks in advance.

CAVEAT: Firstly, I don't have Vista, so what I recommend may or may not work.
You state that the mouse worked for a while. If it's USB driven, unplug and replug.
If you received DRIVERS with it, reload them.
If you didn't receive drivers, Vista must have them. If this is the case, open Device Manager. Find the device. Right click and choose Properties. Click on the DRIVERS tab. If there is a option to Roll Back Drivers, choose that. If it rolls back, reboot if necessary.
If the above doesn't work, remove (uninstall/delete) the mouse in Device Manager. Reboot/restart. The mouse should be found on startup and drivers/resources reassigned.
If this still doesn't work, (and it's USB driven), look in Device Manager for any reported errors concerning USB.
If you still have trouble, post the exact/full model number of your laptop and the mouse.
