My computer was setup with a hard drive for the operating system( Windows XP Professional) and two identical Sata drives in a Raid 0 configuration. The two Sata drives showed up as drive E. Something happened and the Sata drives no longer show up as drive E. In the device manager only the hard drive with the operating system appears.
I have tried deleting the Raid setup and create "Raid set" and I get the message " not enough hard drives to create raid setup". Can I delete the Raid setup, remove one of the Sata drives and recreate a Raid 0 setup using only one Sata drive? I would be doing this to try to determine if one of the Sata drives has failed and then replace the failed drive.
