my printer will not install. I keep getting and error message saing that my print spoller service is not running. can u help? what is a print spooler? and how do I fix this prob?

Click Start, Run, type in services.msc. Locate Print Spooler. Does it say Automatic for Startup Type? Is it Started under Status?

If not, right click on it and choose Properties. In the drop-down box for Startup Type choose Automatic. Click Apply or OK. A restart will be needed to "engage" it.
