does anyone know how to install op sys on a laptop that has no floppy drive?

i have a floppy that will install generic drivers so that the rom drive will function, but, w/out the floppy drive, i can not install the drivers so i can not procede.

is there another way to get the drivers in so that an install is possible, w/out needed any fancy tools?

If there is no floppy drive on the laptop, then odds are the bios has capabilities for booting from the CDROM.

What O/S did you want to load on this laptop?

Depending upon what you want to do, you could maybe slipsteam them in a CD drive. We would need more details about the drivers you are trying to load.
