Under disk management it shows
Layout: Partition
Type: Basic
File system: (blank)
Status: Healthy
Capacity: 128 MB
Free Space: 128 MB
% Free: 100%
Fault Tolerance: No
Overhead: 0%

How full was this drive? Was it near 85% full.
Just wondering if the 128 MB is representing the % of the 1 GB that was actually free.
The fact that Windows cannot see a File System or sees it as RAW indicates that although all your data might be there (probably is) Windows cannot read it.
I'll look around for possible recovery options and post back any ideas I come across.

Thanks.
It probably was about 85% full. I would really like to recover the data since it represents lots of work - spreadsheets and CAD files!
I'll keep my fingers crossed!
