This is way wierd but I need some help I'll come back and check this out later. I have a compac presario 2700 notebook, wireless working great. zip zap, suddenly I have no disk space or memory. I've done the normal scan disk, defrag, disk clean-up, compress, delete, move shrink. I love my notebook but I am ready to throw it out the window, now it won't do a direct connect with my host computer a gateway. Can some one help me do I need memory sticks . please I've tried almost everything except the right thing obviously. delete all restore point except last one burn cds for music files etc...

I'm having the same problem but it got worse and worse, until finally my laptop with the linksy's network card won't work, got a new new netgear to hook into home gateway it's been working 4 month the linksy's wireless router network, then nada, now it says not enough memory, I've done all the scand disk, compress disk, delete programs and music, on and on for days sytem restore, then I deleted past restore points to create more room, now I cannot even do a direct connect with cable between the 2 computers help, going crazy. reddhott

oh my gosh I was typing everything then looked up and zap it was gone. when I try to connect to ntwork or direct connect via serial/paralle it says role as guest name computer chose device it only gives me direct parallel as choice now the box says "unable to create specified connection. this can be caused by insufficient memory or not enough disk space. which i scrazy cuz I was connected via my linkskys wireless thing to mt netgear wireless router and now I cannot even direct connect to download help??
