    I have a problem

    Here's my computer:

    AMD Athlon 64 3500
    EVGA GeForce 8800 GTS
    1.5 GB Ram
    ECS K8T890-A motherboard

I wanted to get a little more juice out of my CPU, so i went into my BIOS and overclocked it from 2.2GHz to 2.4 GHz. I then clicked "save and exit", and right when i did that my computer screen went blank and nothing showed up. I restarted again and again and my computer would never boot up. It would still start up, but wouldnt boot and nothing would show on the monitor.

What are you thoughts? You can call me an idiot if you want, i just want answers =]. My dad thinks it could have something to do with my power supply, and its a 550 Watt power supply, so what do you think there?

You need to clear your CMOS.

This involves removing the motherboard battery and or using the clear CMOS jumper next to the battery depending on the make and model of the motherboard.

    Glad to hear it!

I guess that board/cpu combo doesn't like to be overclocked.
