Unhappy Motherboard will not load Windows

OK, so I am building my own computer, and please bare with me as I am still learning much of the jargen.

I currently have an P4 Processor, DDR2 1G RAM, P4M900T-M motherboard with VIA chip-set (Which I have heard may not be the best) and a 400 G Master Drive with a 20G Slave drive and a basic CD-ROM.

everything works fine when I am hooked up to my old motherboard with the P3 processor and old memory chips. I have just worked through various problems regarding my CPU overheating and just when I think the new computer build will work, it now will not load Windows and continues to say " there was a problem loading windows" and lets me choose:
    "Start in Safe Mode"
    "Safe mode with Networking"
    "Safe mode with command Prompt"
"Continue from last known successful startup"
    "Start Windows Normally" "

I have tried them all, unplugging the computer, resetting the BIOS settings...I am hoping that I didn't somehow mess something up. As far as I have been able to get in the installation of the Motherboard is the BIOS...and then can not load windows to use the Utility Disk.

Anyway, if that isn't enough info, let me know.

    Hope someone can help!

    Thanks,
    Tazdude

You need to reinstall Windows after changing motherboards.

You cannot just move hard drives with an old installation of Windows.

A Repair Install might work but a Clean Install is advised.

Well, that worked great! Thanks again for the help. Now I am off to try and download a new driver...or buy a new video card...well...I get what I pay for out of the motherboard!

Thanks again, you guys are great!
