Hi

I've just built a new system. It powers up for about a min and then proceeds to shut itself down.

Is this because I don't have a powerful enough PSU?

It could be a number of things.

is everything seated properly on the motherboard?

are all the bits new?

do you get any message before it shuts down?

alot of the components are new.

PSU
GRAPHICS CARD
DDR MEMORY
SOUND CARD
1 of the 2 HDD
PROCESSOR
HEATSINK

and everything is seated properly

what size PSU are you using?
