Hey! I require some assistance with a Sapphire PC-A9RD580 MOBO. Bought the rig awhile back. Equiped it with 2 Gb of ram a AMD 64 4800+ Dual-Core CPU and an ATI X1600 Graphics card. It was in a case with a 300w PSU and it worked perfectly until recently.

We had some bad wheather, and the system was unplugged. After some time the system was plugged in again and when it was switched on, BANG!. One major bang and the system was dead. Opened it up and found, to my knowlwdge that the PSU was blown. Didn't c any blown Caps or smell anything burnt.

Bought a 500w PSU, plugged it in. The MOBO shows that it got power, (LED on the board), but it doesn't switch on. The manual states LEDS on the board including SATA Activity, CPU Power and sys power. But there is 1 led not shown in the manual that is active now. I suspect it to be a diagnostic LED but haven' found any info on it.

It is located between the FDC and 24-PIN power connector. I think that the MOBO has probably been blown, but there are 2 LEDS active on it, 1 power and 1 unknow. And maybe it can tell me what the prob is.
