When I leave my computer for awhile, it goes into sleep mode, usually when I touch the mouse, everything comes back up. Lately, nothing happen when I touch the mouse. If I turn off the computer and back on, it will not post. If I hit the reset button, I get a solid beep that keeps going until I reset again or shut off again. Eventually, after resetting a few times, I get it to post and everything is fine. Is it possible my motherboard is going out or is there another problem?

The Beep Code depends on the BIOS type.

The Power Supply Unit might be the first main suspect.

You can get a PSU tester at most any electronics store or else try a new PSU.
