Hi Guys,

I just purchased a 350 gig Sata (Western Digital) hard drive. Lil' ole me wants to put XP Pro in a partiton by itself with programs on a second partion and some music editing program on a third partition. Please help a girl out and suggest what partition sizes i should consider.

Sorry for the delayed response. I would suggest giving XP 50GB and then split the rest. Perhaps another 50GB for audio and the rest for video.

Or if video is not a need for you. I'd split it 50:150:150

In Windows all these Numbers will be a bit smaller as Windows uses a different calibration than do hard drive manufacturers.
