Hi, I just got a band new UPS. It is APC XS-900.

Got it from BestBuy last night.

I charge it overnight, 24 hours... I installed the software called PowerChute Personal Edition 2.0. Under "Current Status" My "Remaining Battery Capacity Is" always 98%. It never reach 100%. And the Battery is currently: "Charging" After 24 hours....

Is this normal? Shouldn't it suppose to reach 100% and stop charging? Will this kill my battery if it kept on charging non-stop.

I ran a couple of self battery test on the UPS. It passed!
