Have been contracted to prepare the necessary documentation for implementation and testing of system modifications to be introduced to the 'Acme Property Pty Ltd" real estate sales company.
The existing system consists of 6 peer to peer 100baseT networked windows XP PC's with one colour and one plain laser HP Printer fitted with Jetdirect Network cards (which are not being utilised) attached to and shared from the recepionist's PC. The Office manager's PC hosts the company database.
It has been decided in the push for the business to have internet connectivity and the hosting of a company web site, that a windows 2003 server should be installed to host the database which is to be linked to the company web page for prospective clients to browse the property list on offer.
The task is to prepare all necessary documentation including the change request to install the server.
NOTE: The web page design and database are NOT to be considered in this project.
Need to:

a. Detail and document the existing system,
b. Detail and document all changes to the system.
c. Produce an updated network logic drawing showing the changes to be made.
d. Documentation should also include changes to system configuration details, directory structure and database access where appropriate.

I've been watching this thread since its inception, and wondering (especially since no one has replied, and a Google search of "'Acme Property Pty Ltd" turns up no viable links other than case studies, law firm exam questions etc.); is this a theoretical scenario possibly for some course homework?
