Hang Issue again

Hang Issue again
been busy for exams... but i guess this was a very very simple thing but i just didnt think of it till now.
is it possible my computer are facing sudden hang issues because of me not having enough RAM? i'm currently running 2 HDDs. one ATA 80GB (standard no brand) and one SATA 200GB (western digital if i'm not mistaken). i'm running on 2 pieces of 256 DDR333 standard RAM.
i think i've used up about... 160GB of space... that leaves about 120GB hmm?
so... is it possible? i've even tried clean booting, turning of extra services and such... but it still hangs.
thanks in advance

512MB should be fine for running XP and standard programs.
If you are running high end games and or video editing or CAD software then 1024MB would be better.
Freezing is generally a hardware issue (often heat) but it also depends on what you are doing. How frequent etc.
Have you opened your case and cleaned it out? Check the fans etc.
I would also wait to see what Neal has to say about your log. Bear in mind it being a holiday in the US so it might take a day or two.

i've also thought that it might be heat issue, as i usually leave my computer on for days cause i download stuff alot. and the connection in malaysia's real slow. but i've tried leaving my com off for a few days but when i switch it on it happens again.
i have thought that it's because i run high-end games, but the problem is it hangs even when i do normal things like surf the web listen to songs and such. which is quite baffling.
however i do notice that it hangs more frequently when i play games like... NFS Carbon and Stronghold. but why does it hang at times when all i'm doing is surf the web?
oh yeah, could it be... memory leak or something?
