Hi,
I bought an S-Video to 3-RCA cable to connect my Compaq Presario 2381
notebook to my TV for watching DVDs & showing photos etc. Initially, I
got a cable with 4-pin S-Video jack - though I got the picture, there
was no colour and no sound from the TV. Since the notebook had a 7-pin
jack, I changed it with a 7-pin cable but now I'm not getting
anything. With the previous cable, the moment I switched the TV to
Video Mode from TV Mode, an additional monitor was being detected by
the notebook & I would get an option to send display to
Notebook/TV/Notebook+TV when I right clicked on the desktop. Now -
nothing. Anybody any ideas what's wrong?
