How do I install my video controller?

I have a problem playing certain videos because I havent installed the driver for the video controller. I know this because when I go to add hardwar in the control panel there is a yellow question mark next to the video controller.

For instance my youtube videos work fine but when I try play video [mpg files] on windows media player the computer takes up the entire memory and runs incredibly slow that you have to wait at least a minute to open a window.

How do I know which driver to install?

Is it not identified under Add Hardware where you see the yellow ?

If not try the Device Manager: start Run... devmgmt.msc

Look under Display Adapters and or Other Devices if it comes up as a yellow ?

    Driver Installation Hints

"Download Accelerator" utilities should be disabled when downloading any drivers.

Do not run virus protection software in the background while installing the drivers. This prevents the driver from configuring itself properly.

Before installing new drivers make sure you uninstall all NVIDIA display drivers from the Windows Control Panel. Browse to the Start Menu > Windows Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs and search for "NVIDIA Windows Display Drivers" or "NVIDIA Display Drivers" and select remove.
    Driver here:

    http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_91.47.html

O yeah and the problem with not being able to play videos on media player happened when the computer was sent for repairs. When we got it back it couldnt play videos anymore.
I think because the repair people didnt install the drivers(cause there were a number of other things wrong which I fixed when I reformatted it.)
So the problem is quite old. The video controller should still be in the computer but I didnt put it together.
