i have a compaq ap400 professional workstation running on xp pro only problem is for some unknown reason it wouldnt detect any cd/dvd drives i installed, however since putting the original back in, the scsi drive (the main one) WILL NOT work i made sure all cables are back where they should be when it comes to turning the power on it does nothing whatsoever unless i disconnect the power lead from the back of the scsi drive then it will boot up and tell me that there is a disk error or one missing if i leave the power on and try to reconnect the cable (no i shouldnt) it automatically cuts all power to the heap of crap anyone know why???
