hi guys,

I've got 5 speakers from an old hi-fi system and i was wondering if i could somehow connect them to my laptop via a smaller system or amplifier because my hi-fi is huge, has two tape decks and 3 cd decks but all my music is on my laptop anyway.....I'm off to uni and really don't want that beast sitting under my desk just so I can play some music..
Don't know if this is a hardware prob or not.....the two main speakers have that black and red, positive/negative, bare wire connection and the other three have normal jacks.

Any ideas?
