Please help me!! :nervous:

I have an HP pavillion ze4801ea. The screen suddenly turned itself off. I can barely make out that it is actually powered up, but the display is barely visible. I have tried turning up the brightness, and made sure the button on the lid is not stuck in. Is there anything else i could do? Is this a problem that can be easily repaired, or is this a big problem for me??

Please help, I would appreciate you advice.

It sounds like the backlight on the screen has blown. Most repair shops dont charge much to replace them or you can do it yourself if you're confidant working on computers.
