Hi there, sorry if this is in the wrong forum, but I was wondering if anyone is able to help me with this problem.

The CD Drive on my Packard Bell computer is not reading discs.

I put it down to a simple error when it didn't recognise Championship Manager two days ago. However, it's still not reading it, and I tried three or four other CD's but to no success.

Any advice??

have you tried a CD Lens cleaner?

after a while dust builds up on the laser and makes reading discs difficult
