Weird Processor Socket Help

    Question Weird Processor Socket Help

    Hello I Just Finished Purchasing A Dell Optiplex GX280 Barebone System With Just The MotherBoard and The Case......Im Having Some Problem... I Tried Taking Out My p4 2.4ghz from my old pc and inserting it the new one...... but i came to find out that the processor socket on the new one has pins facing upwards..... instead of having the small little holes were i place the proccesor.......I was Wondering If Anyone OCuld Halp Me Tell What Kind OF Processor Fits In Here...... ANy Help Would Be Appreciated Thanks.....

    Look on the boards for the model, that looks like a Foxcon, once you have that info you can get the socket type, which determines which processor will fit.

    is it a Intel Pentium 4 LGA775 socket?
