    Angry big screen reslolution

hey everyone, i have a problem with my monitor yesterday i deleted something from my computer (i didnt know what was that) and after few moments i noticed that i have deleted my sound card. i went to safe mode and tried to solve the problem but no luck. i returned to normal mode, but then my screen appeard the same as in safe mode ( all details are big and colours very low) exept there is no "safe mode"in the cornenrs of my screen. i checked my devices and there was two yellow questionmarks. one was about sound card and i have repaired it succesfully. another was Video Controller VGA Compatible (it seems that i have deleted it too). i tried to reinstall it, but windows cant find anything. i went to internet and read about video devices and other stuff, but still nothing helps me also i tried to change my screen resolution in my control panel- but that didnt worked out.
today i found a CD. it seemed that it could help me. the CD is "Standart PCI graphics adapter(VGA)" . so i deleted my old VGA and installed NVIDIA GEFORCE FX5200 wich was in CD. when i restarted my pc, nothing have changed (( @@@@ PC!! i checked my devices again and now there is no problem and no yelow questionmark, but screen resolution is still big. im lost and i dont know what to do. im not a profe about computers and i have no idea about devices. please help me.

    Velvet Cat,

Download a program [free] called Belarc Advisor. This will give you data on all your hardware and software on your PC.
    http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html

Identify devices and run a google search for the correct drivers. If you have problems with this, you can post your Belarc advisor results here, but please remove any ID such as your XP serial number.
