i'm going insane with trying to install my old laptop hd using a caddy Toshiba (MK2016GAP) is the hd and caddy is an emagic as250. When i plugged in the 1st time it said new hardware found and it said it installed, it appears in device manager and i can use safely remove the hardware but it does not appear in my computer, i have done a system restore twice and started from scratch and the same thing is happening. Do i need to reformat the hd first, how do i do this and will i lose all info saved on that hd? Cheers if you have any ideas...
