Share USB memory between two computers

    Hey everyone,

I've been looking everywhere for the cable/splitter necessary to share a USB memory stick between two computers, but I can't find anything for the life of me. Has anyone ever done this before, and if so, where did you find the cables to do it? I've found the proper connector for Mac, but not for PCs.

    Thanks

Tyler, that is a Male to 2x Female. He is looking for Female to 2x Male.

You are correct Rob. I'm looking for the opposite of what Tyler suggested. I know I could puchase adapters and I could have what I'm looking for...essentially, but there's an overriding question here as well. Can a USB Flash memory device serve two masters at the same time? Is there any reason this would be problematic (barring the whole overwriting each other angle)?

Whoops sorry Paul. I am sure someone will know the answer to ya! I honestly have never heard of it, but I can see how it can be quite useful.

Did some moderator mung up the posts, adding the "Free Computer Help...applications" links? The link to the "Male to 2x Female" seems to be gone. (And the link to "rules" in the (replacement?) doesn't work).
