Someone bought me this laser mouse a few months back, and well, it kind of does it's own thing sometimes. I can be typing an email, and suddenly it jumps down to the quick launch bar.....all on it's own.

I have put up with it, and all the drivers are in correctly, and have uninstalled reinstalled them, but it STILL does it's own thing. Either IT or I am going insane.:idunno:

Any ideas?:helpme:

I've got an optical mouse that that'll do similar things. I don't touch it, but the cursor just floats across the screen. If move it a certain way, it'll stop working, then Windows will make that little sound telling me it has recognized a "new" USB device.

Micheal, thank you so much for the very needed laugh. Yes, my mouse does those things too. It just jumps around, so I totally relate to the "winking mouse".

I had optical before, and was given this one before I threw the optical.

You're welcome. On mine at least I've figured out it is a loose wire. I need to at some point buy a new one. :/

No loose wire on mine . Only loose wire I can think of is me:bs_lame: . Mouses do not like me. There is some type of Vendetta going on; a conspiracy....a battle of ME versus THEM... .....I can laugh, but I think it's true....and as for getting a new one.......I am always getting new ones...I have lots of them......all failures for me.....want one? two? three?:P
