    Computer Randomly Freeze's

For some okward reason my computer has been freezing for an unknown reason. Recently the power supply had stopped working. It had been freezing then also. Ive replaced the power supply and yet again its still freezing. I have Windows XP professional. 2.6 Ghz Pentium 4 487 Socket. 1.5GB of ram. a ATI 9550 256 MB Video Card. Any ideas at all would be appriciated. Also if you can describe how to test out your possible problems. (P.S. ive already tried cleaning the fans. and it is not a overheating problem. because i have 3 fans non of which are cloged) Thanks for reading and PLEASE HELP! also this only happends when im playing world of warcraft... i think. but please give all possible solutions.

Did all this start when your power supply was faulty? If so, you may have lost a few system files along with the power interrutions.

Go to Start->Run-> copy and paste the next line as I write it....

    sfc /scannow

Have your WinXP disk ready. After you have done this, please go to Microsoft and reinstall any updates that may have been lost during the file check and replace.

Also, you can try to bring on this problem again, then open up your Administrative Tools->Event Viewer->Applications.......look for any RED errors in there. Looks also under "System"..........

To me, it sounds like either you lost some files, of your PC is having problems with that particular game..........

Welcome to the forum, I hope we can help you....
