Well Id like to thank everyone esp Ana for helping me with this sound issue, Ive resorted to reformating and reinstalling windows xp fresh which actually worked, so now I got sound, but now no mic working and need to redo norton stuff. But all in all at least my sound is fixed

Pokeh, thank you for coming back and letting us know what you did. I actually thought it may end up where it did as I started to suspect a registry corruption.

With a clean install, you should be fine. :notworthy:

As for the mic part, I have that problem on my Intel, and have NO idea how to fix it.
