    Can I Plug a 20-pin ATX Power Supply Conector into a 24-pin ATX Motherboard Conector?

    I am buying a motherboard which has a 24-pin ATX connector and i am also buying a 500W ATX power supply which has a 20-pin connector.

    So, Can I Plug a 20-pin ATX Power Supply Connector into a 24-pin ATX Motherboard?

    Its only possible if your Power Supply has an adapter. Check out the Antec Neopower and Antec TruePower II lines, they both have adapters and are both good power supplies. Without an adapter though, the power supply won't work.
