Resources not Available
Need some suggestions, Here is my problem:
I have an old Suncom SFS Fighter Stick and Throttle. They don't make these anymore and there is nothing on the market today that is as perfect for an F15 stick (so don't tell me to go buy a new HOTAS or joystick setup, not gonna happen until they have another good F15 stick)
Anyway, I put in a new Mobo that doesn't have the old joystick ports as everything has gone USB.
So, I picked up an old Soundblaster PCI card with a joystick port and plopped it in.
Everything was recognized by Windows XP and loaded up fine...except the joystick port.
When I look at the error information under System/Hardware/Device Manager/Sound Video and Game Controllers it has a yellow exclamation point indicating that I have a conflict with the joystick port. When I look under properties and device status it states that "resources are not available"
What does that mean and what can I do to resolve this? As it stands when I plug the joystick in, I get power to the joystick (one of the lights illuminates properly), but XP does not recognize anything connected to the joystick port.
Help please!

Did you install the drivers? Go to the manufacures site and download the new ones?
Look at the manufactures faq?
Let us know.

Haven't tried any new drivers, I will have to give that a try, but does that really explain "resources not available"?
