Ok, I have a Compaq Presario 700 and a DVD/CD-RM combo drive. When I put in a Blank CD-R, and I double click on it, I get this error:
D:\ is not accessible.
Incorrect function.
***NOTE*** Regular CDs work fine.
If I can't fix this, bestbuy gives me a new computer! (Part of the service plan! 3+ hardware issues=new computer)
Uh... its blank media, so its not accessbile. Try burning something to it perhaps![]()
I am running Win XP, and when ever you try and open it, it shows the Windows Burning Wizard.
"Right-Click on the drive w/ the problem
Properties
Recording Tab
and then check the "Enable CD Recording On This Drive" box."
Now don't you think Windows should do that automatically?
Anyway, thanks Tyler!
Now why should it do that, this is Windows rember, just doing what it always does![]()
Most of the time it does! :mrgreen:Originally Posted by Rob
